I'm going to be in NYC Thursday-Saturday on a job interview... any suggestions on places to see and things to do? I'm going to be in a hotel in Manhattan.

The usual suspects; the Met, the Staten Island Ferry (the view from Manhatten on the return trip is SPECTACULAR!), the NYC Public Library, and Grand Central, of course.

Oh! I forgot -- ^ that reminds me -- Central Park has a zoo, too! And it's actually a nice, small zoo.

Caroline's comedy club, TKTS booth to get whatever cheap broadway tickets you want. the original blue man group show, tour of carnegie hall.

And there's this corner bar in SOHO with the best darn female impersonators ever. One guy, if you close your eyes, sounds so much like billie holiday that you would swear it was her and go up and kiss him. But don't unless you are into that stuff.

Go to a performance art hall in soho. I wandered around the galleries and once found this guy impersonating a dog for 48 hours. He attacked a news reporter from CNN and bit her on the arm when she went into his cage. That was the coolest. And free!
