Hey everyone, I found this site yesterday and it is really great if you're bored and looking for something to do.

www.freedvd4me.com

First off, it would be awesome of some of you went to the link and signed up for an account using my referral code which is 7515. It takes about 1 minute to fill out the forms and you can put completely fake information if you want to and never have to do anything with the site ever again. That gets me referral points that I can trade in for free dvd's. :D

But if you'd like to get in on the free dvd getting yourself, here's a basic rundown of the site:

The basic gist of it is that you complete offers that are on the web site and those earn you points. You trade the points in for free dvd's. The offers include a subscription to AOL, weight loss programs, book clubs, etc.

The great thing about it is that you either pay nothing or pay 1 dollar to complete these offers. I signed up for AOL twice this morning, once for Broadband and once for normal and that was enough to earn me one free dvd (shipping is paid). I then just called and cancelled both accounts. Many of the other offers let you cancel instantly on the website itself! An example of this is the book club offers. They have an option to bill you later and what you do is pick the books, get the points, and then as soon as you have set up your account go in, cancel your books and your account. You get the points and pay nothing!

A few of the offers have non-refundable 1 dollar fees but if you look at it as getting a new dvd for a few bucks it's a great deal! In the span of one day and approximately 90 minutes of my time I have accumulated enough points for 250 dollars worth of free DVD's including a 150 dollar Hitchcock box set. Really great. In addition to this, every week there are 2 free dvd's you are able to choose from to recieve without using any of your points if you have completed 4 offers during that week. This week's free choices were Daredevil and the Solaris remake (which I hated, I loved the original Tarkovsky film) and I picked Daredevil.

So, I'd suggest this site if you're really interested in getting free DVD's and aren't scared about the possibility, however slim, of credit card fraud. I have talked to many, many people that use this site though that have never had any problem but I suppose there's always the potential.

Either way, I really hope some of you guys fill out the form and use my referral code if you've got the time. Thanks!

Thanks to whoever signed up for it! I got one referral point this morning. Remember, you can sign up with all fake info if you don't want to recieve junk mail and you never have to visit the site again. :D

LOL! I just recieved the point. Thanks Turbulence! Half the fun of it is trying to be creative with a fake name... I had a couple friends sign up as Jack Ryan and Willy Wonka.

Gotta love 123 Fake Street though... :D

I tried, MG, I tried! Or, rather, Rusty Shackleford tried. It said Rusty needed a credit card to sign up for an offer...

...but Rusty tried! :smoke:
