You get paid when we click on the Google ads right? So we should try and click on them a lot?

Also I'm not a big fan of having them on the side because it squeezes the posts. I guess that makes it more visible but personally I think a horizontal banner at the top and bottom would look better. I feel the same for the homepage and also I liked the box that used to be on the homepage with the board info (PMs and New Posts).

You won't get any complaint from me. Google ads are great. Context sensitive and they can pay really, really well on a reasonably trafficked site.

Yeah, I think it might be better to just have one at the top and bottom on the forum pages. I'll set that up in the next day or so and see how it looks.

The box on the home page (and other pages) with the avatar and forum info was making pages load slowly. So I put the pm inbox, login, logout, register and username up at the top left under the logo.

Personally I would try it right below the red bar that has User CP, FAQ, ect in it and then maybe right above the quick reply box on the bottom.

Man, the quick reply box is my bread & butter. I use the "full" reply maybe 3% of the time. I'm not sure I'd be a fan of scrolling further down to get there, but I guess it's hard to know w/out seeing it there. :)

Actually, it probably wouldn't. It's fluid, I'll be playing around with it to see what looks/works best and annoys least.

Yea, I used to post on a site that had ads but then gave you the option to subscribe for like 2 or 3 dollars a month and you got no ads, more PM space, and a couple other perks.

I like having that as an option.
