No more baseball for Turbulence...!
So who's everybody's favorite for this year? I'm a big Vikings and Panthers fan...but I'd have to say that Tampa and St. Louie look good this year. My darkhorse for the championship is Atlanta or Miami...

Cute bear Shell...even though it is dressed in a Redskin's outfit!! :p ;)
I grew up watching the Cowboys and pulling for them, but now days, I pull for the underdog...and I guess since Dallas has sucked for a while, they can fit in that role too!! :eek2:
Shell it could be worse, my sister loves Dallas and my brother-in-law loves the Skins. (and to add fuel to that fire, she pulls for Wake Forest and he loves Carolina  ) no harmony in that house unless it is summer time!! ;)

I am a huge Panthers fan, but I might have to root for the Redskins if they end up signing my all-time favorite player, Wesley Walls.

Tell me about it! Fox isn't big on throwing to TE, he prefers them as blockers. Wesley even took a million dollar pay cut the year before to stay with the team. I was so furious when they released him.

A guy busts his hump for the team and takes a pay cut and they still release him?? That is messed up. I am a fan of tight ends. (no comments now :D ) They work hard and the ones with the good hands can do a lot of scoring. They are pretty much the work horses. I wish him well this season.

I am very partial to tight ends! I've heard the Redskins, Buccaneers and Green Bay have talked to him. All but Green Bay have given him offers, but I think Washington is the only place he'd be a starter, so I hope he ends up there.

I pull for the Banana Slugs. ;)
(My fantasy football team) I won't know who I like until our draft. I'd like to see the Panthers win a Super Bowl.

Wesley Walls has a new home..
Packers Ink TE Walls
POSTED: 9:58 AM EDT August 5, 2003
Carolina, NC -- The Green Bay Packers have signed free agent tight end Wesley Walls to a contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 37-year-old Walls, who spent the last seven seasons with the Carolina Panthers, caught 19 passes for 241 yards and four touchdowns in 2002.
"I think he can bring an awful lot to us," Green Bay general manager and head coach Mike Sherman said. "We worked him out. He had a wonderful workout, showed quickness out of the break. He has great size, great hands."
The stats were down considerably from his previous eight campaigns with New Orleans and Carolina, during which the 6-foot-5 Walls averaged 50 receptions, 595 yards and six touchdowns.
A Mississippi product and 14-year veteran, Walls has totaled 430 catches for 5,069 yards and 53 touchdowns while playing for San Francisco, the Saints and the Panthers. His best season was with Carolina in 1999 when he finished with 63 receptions for 822 yards and 12 scores.
