Saw this and thought it might come in handy. Cheaper than the trays you get at the dentist. My dentist charges $500 for that.

The Best Teeth Whiteners
By RealSimple.com

The Best Whitening Toothpaste

Arm & Hammer Advance White Toothpaste, $3.60 for 4.3 Ounces

With peroxide to whiten and baking soda to clean, this paste releases penetrating bubbles and leaves a minty taste that lasts after you brush. "It brightened my coffee-stained teeth and didn't make them sensitive," said one tester.
Time Commitment: The two minutes it takes to brush.
To Buy: At drugstores.

The Best Tooth Swabs

Gosmile Advanced Formula b1 Ampoules, $89

"Easy and fun to use," these were a hit with impatient testers, who began to see a difference right away (just rub the end of the swab on each tooth).
Time Commitment: Two minutes to apply, plus 20 minutes without eating or drinking, twice a day for 7 to 10 days.
To Buy: www.gosmile.com.

The Best Whitening Strips

Rembrandt Advanced Whitening Strips, $23

Testers who had tried other strips were pleasantly surprised by these. "They noticeably whitened my teeth, were easy to use, and weren't slimy feeling," said one. They also stayed in place and didn't slip around on teeth (a common problem with other strips). Some testers saw results in as little as three days.
Time Commitment: 30 minutes a day for 10 days.
To Buy: At drugstores.

The Best Whitening Trays

Aquafresh White Trays, $35

"I got compliments after using these - people noticed that my teeth were whiter," reported one tester. The flexible trays, which mold to the teeth, are prefilled, so there's no guesswork about how much whitening gel to use. These trays were also particularly effective on stains between teeth.
Time Commitment: 30 to 45 minutes a day for seven days.
To Buy: At drugstores.

I just went to the dentist and they did some kind of baking soda thing on my teeth instead of the "cleaning." You'd never know I drink coffee :D

Our dentist had this loyalty program for her practice, with free whitening (the mouth imprint, all the bleaching gels) for "life" as long as you stay with her practice. I jumped on it, got to have my teeth imprinted, took home the bleaching kit, and an extra for "touching up" and I'm thrilled with the results- my best friend in socal had hers whitened by laser and paid a pretty penny for it- and when I spoke to her on Skype Video, she could totally notice the differnce. It really does de-age you when you whiten your teeth. People notice, but they don't know what they're 'noticing' thinking that you've done something to your hair or changed your makeup or something.
