Opinions on new graphic

felt like doing a new sig/banner today...

I got skin like a gator... tell me if you like, dislike.. things you think should be changed.. whatever.

I don't have my alienskin plugins at work, so might do something different later. I've done better.. but don't think this is too bad.

Looks good! Don't really care for the effect on the logo, though. Maybe if it wasn't so out-of-focus looking.

i like the player choice. :D

the only thing i dislike are the trails coming off the eye. this is hard to explain, but i think the trails on the right half of the eye are fine, but the ones on the left half should be coming from the 'back' of each section, rather than the 'front', if that makes any sense. so that there is kind of an illusion of the eye moving from the background to the foreground rather than just movement going across. :angel: just an idea.

It was just a "wind" filter used on the eye. alienskin has some better stuff.. I'm particularly fond of the filter I used coming off of Irbe in the below pic.
I wasn't really thrilled with the wind effect, but felt it needed something to lend it to the storm.

I like the effect, but not the font. It doesn't portray just how pissed we are. Good job, nice to know I'm not the only one who gets creative passing the time at work ;) .

I brought AlienSkin's Eye Candy with me today, so I'm gonna see if I can do something else with the eye. It's my fave plugin, can usually find something. Hey, why else would you pay $200 for additional filters after paying $700 for Photoshop? lol

I believe it was Eileen that was first to drop the "We're Back and We're Pissed" phrase here. Can't be positive, but I think so.

And the Jesse standing over Worrel. I would KILL to have a good shot of that. And YES I'd love to make some nice graphics using it. I've never seen a quality photo of that exact moment though :sad:

I can't believe they haven't used that for marketing! I've seen it on the jumbotron at the RBC a couple of times, but no wallpapers or still frames. :beatup:

It's amazing that there's really NO published pictures of that spectacular hockey moment. That one is pretty bad, but at least it's out there. Don't think I'd use for a banner though. I'll pull it and see if I can clean it up some.
