Ok so, I've finally gotten around to dropping an edit of some footie I took back in March. The first part of this was from my double header day (paddling the Haw/Canes game). On that day the water was cranking at 4000cfs and rising. The second part of the video is taken at the same rapid one week later with the water at 2100cfs and falling. Enjoy.

He's been on GMA and The Ellen Show.

I say the Canes let him "guest PA" one night....or at least narrate an intro or something.

Okay, the first 40 seconds is just the birds doing the wild thing, you can forward through that to get to the punchline (remembering of course that the bird just finished up).

I'm going to have to try this move myself.

Ok so, I have some footie from my trip in April. This video is almost made up entirely of what not to do

. I think I got one good boof in at 1:02 into the video. Then at the end I had a pretty good save at the Falls.

So here is a video from the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte (USNWC). I thought I turned my helmet cam on but actually I turned it off so the only footie was from the cam on the bow pointed back. But I kind of liked the perspective so I thought I'd thought I'd share it here. Enjoy!

Not a YouTube, but have any of you ever been victimized by Google's sense of humor? Today, my son typed "askew" into the search bar to be sure of the spelling, and that didn't go over so well (in light of all the fixes I've had to do to the televisions, PC, and routers after an electrical storm last week).
