I did NOT expect the Flyers to be completely outclassed to the level they were vs. the Devils. I did not expect Nashville to have an easy road of it vs. Phoenix by any means, but am very happy that Phoenix moved on. (I'll be visiting there more often in future as my sister-in-law is moving there; really hoping to catch good hockey!)

I still have hope for my Caps in 7 pick. That would make for an OK round, considering nobody got the Kings in 4 (sweep the Blues? seriously?) and only 1 person picked the Devils: wa10 I'd call you a genius, but you do have the ignoble honor of being the only person so far to pick a sweep on the wrong side of a sweep. -- though a few of us were pretty darned close for picking a Philly sweep this round.

No, no, I mean for the 2nd round! I am satisfied with my performance in the above chart. But for the 2nd round I'm in real danger of getting zero points.

Although, admittedly, it looks like most of us are. We can't help it this roudn defies conventional logic.

As a Former LGC Playoff Pool Champion(tm), I can tell you that the secret to this thing is racking up the points in the 1st round. But getting some in the 2nd is pretty essential as well.

heh. I suppose I don't watch enough west coast games to have a real feel for the quality of play in the west. Bad pick for sure.

Goaltending stunk in the Phil-Pit series. I didn't figure either team was going to make it very far with that kind of goaltending.
