Loved everything you pointed out above but wanted to isolate this. The deadline for the cookout is Mar 23, and only noted in that one spot. (Unlike the bold red reminders for the F&B discounts which is Apr 30.)

You're right LK- I just went back and looked, you're so right it only gets mentioned once. Great call out.

Oh and the "special" lanyards for full & 26 gamers.

Doug Warf tweeted back to a question on timing for the cookout- looks like they are shooting for training camp.

No more bags, coolers, chairs and umbrellas! :-) The STH Gift program must not have gotten the greatest feedback in that survey.

I love the new perks but am rather put out by my price increase - over 30%. Granted its only 4.50 a ticket but this year they were 12.50 each.
I dont know if i can keep our seats and I love our seats. (sad face)

Here's confirmation from Doug Warf on the gift incentive program being no more (twitter):

Quote:
@ribar96: @dougwarf so the gift incentive program going away? Glad I got a cooler this year.

@dougwarf: @ribar96 yes, a lot of feedback was that F&B was more desirable than the gifts. Also, most had several yrs and new options were tough.
My seats are slightly more than last season(s), but not a surprise and not a huge increase. Livable. Offset by the food and beverage perk, which I like, and the graduated Eye discount. I also like the incentive to get more full season ticket holders in the value sections. Smart move. The brochure is visually stunning, and the quote and coach letter is a great touch. Overall IMO job well done.

That's the same for me in the newly named "Canes Shoot Twice Goal Zone". Since the Fan Zone is almost half the price, IF I renew, it will be at the other end. I know it seems like being cheap to many, but I'm not a wealthy man and with gas for a 120 mile round trip, parking, food, and beverage, increases start to make you evaluate that. I have always liked having tickets cheap enough that I could give away many of them to friends to try to get people interested. A 30% increase gets me to thinking.

As for the new perks, they are okay. I spend very little money on food and beverage at the game, I'm more of a tailgater. A lanyard and a special entrance don't excite me. The sliding scale on The Eye discount is nice. I'm not complaining, but I'm not as giddy as some are over the new stuff. I guess I'm a little bummed about having to make a decision on my tickets. If the increase would have been more modest, I would have re-upped without thought. Now, I have to think.

Note to Canes. A 30% increase on any level ticket creates some sticker shock to loyal fans.

Agree, I would see what your rep has to say.....It seems there are a few spots where this is the case v. most (and I count myself among the lucky ones) the increase was about 10% (largely offset by the F&B credit and no increase over last year's non-locked price). maybe they will do something to make it more amenable?

In doing my math for next year, are we to assume that the Genral Parking Pass will remain at $7 a game?

Not to me. No one else can evaluate your financial situation and, even if you can afford an increase, that doesn't mean it's worth it to you.

It doesn't matter how much the ticket is, a 30% increase is enough to make anyone stop and re-evaluate.

I lucked out and my prices haven't changed so I'm beyond thrilled, but I'm sorry for you guys who did see an increase. Especially that 30%!

Yes. I just renewed my package and that was the parking fee.

On a positive note, at least we aren't arguing over whether Cam sucks or not. That has to be worth something.

Ok - so the original document they posted with the blurb about the STHer gift program has now morphed into that PDF that doesn't list the program. I should have copied that here cause it did say "STHer gift program" in the original post, now everytime I try to re-link that PDF /Microsite comes up. So it's gone.

Kind of a bummer the gift incentives are no more, however, it's been hell-ish the last couple years trying to use up the points we get plus we've been giving alot of the "gifts" to others because we just have too many Canes things.

Mr. Socal finalized our renewal, we're "confirmed" for 12-13 season & yeah for the cookout & F&B credit. That Echosign thing is a smart way to go.

I don't think anyone here is going to judge or speak out on being cost conscious on seats. If not for a large salary increase at the end of last yr, I would be second thinking staying in our section & the increase. (10%) Crazy part is, Mr. Socal is now looking to roam again-- and has his eyes on another section which would be an increase some more in the ticket cost.

The 'beef' (if I have one really) on the prices, is that it is skewed toward those of us who are on the end where the Canes shoot twice, not completely, but they are taking advantage of that perk, I 've always paid to be close to our end, so I expect it, but if I have any suggestion, it would have been to make that money up with WALK UP people. After making an impromptu trip to the Eye last Saturday/game day and seeing the insane line for tickets for that night and hearing people say "oh ok" and not walk away from the window & buy, coupled with having numerous conversations with our ticket rep about the volume of walk up traffic on a game day, I'd be inclined to see those folks take a hit. But that's me.

SuperDave is right, this does beat talking about Cam & whether he's a worthy goalie.

Finally back home from being in PA all week and finally got a chance to read the brochure. My LLN seats went up $4 to the non-freeze price. As I was expecting that, I'm fine with it.

I really like the F&B credit, discount whatever the hell it is. I don't have time to eat beforehand on the weeknights, so that will definetly come in handy.

LOVE the BBQ. Now I gotta remember to sign up prior to the 23rd

That's me. The STH base seems to get the shaft and they keep giving discounts and specials to get the individual buyers. I may do better by being a Stubhub, college night, STH night (super secret code), military appreciation night, teacher appreciation night, or Kangaroo special fan.

They got me thinkin'. I have another kid starting college next year.

I looked-over the EchoSign thing several times. Is it assuming you're re-upping at your same plan as last year? I don't see a mention anywhere of what my plan is, and how much I'll be charged? How do I find that out?

My LL S for 12 game is up $3.50/game.

I have to admit that I am pissed on two counts:
1) This season certainly didn't earn any indulgences toward a price increase
2) I do all the mid-week games which means that exchange dates are usually for games I have anyway & I could almost always get the same or better seats for much, much cheaper through the organization's discounts.

I see the food & the gift programs as offsetting costs. Guess I'm looking forward to the BBQ as justification.

When the team hasn't made any play-off revenue in 3 years, you really can't expect the ticket prices to stay the same.

Thems the breaks....

It does assume you're renewing the same plan. It does have the percentages and due dates but you'll have to look at your invoice in CAM to determine how much each payment will be.

I would have liked the same 30% discount on my premier parking that they offer to general. But that's really my only complaint.
