He was not injured though. He even got into another car and drove it after his accident. No word on who will pay for the damage to the car and the wall.

guess he should be more careful about driving a car he can't handle.

I wonder if Easley was doing as Erik Cole has told us all to do, and buckled up...
Glad to know our governor's supposedly a-ok... |

According to what I've heard about that HANS device and the other restraint, it pretty much prevents you from moving just about everything but your hands and feet.
Although it was a great cause, I'm a bit surprised that Johnson's team would take a risk like that with one of their cars. I'm sure it wasn't one of the cars set up for this week, but it still will be quite an expense for the "Jeff Gordon owned, Lowe's Chevy" . NASCAR always works to get the sponsors in there like that. I've been wondering . . . what do you suppose Erik and the gov think of the commercial with Stormy cruising about with members of the Storm Squad. Maybe there's a loophold in the law that state "Seat belt are only required if not riding with an oversized warthog wearing a jersey". I always get a chuckle out of that, especially when they are shown back to back. |

I saw the governor on the CBS national morning news show today and he looked really good. He did explain everything in detail about the accident.
I too always wondered about stormy riding FREELY in the convertible. I know it is only a commercial-but so is click-it or tick-it. ![]() |
